Goldenrod Dehumidifier

Goldenrod Dehumidifier 300x288 Goldenrod DehumidifierSo, how does a Goldenrod Dehumidifier work? It looks like a fluorescent light bulb, how will this lower the humidity in a room, or certain enclosed areas? That is a very good question, and that is what this article will be trying to explain to you.

The GoldenRod dehumidifier will increase the warmth of the air, some several degree from the temperature than it is outside, in an enclosed area all 24 hours. The dehumidifier does this by heating its surface evenly to a temperature that is almost to hot to hold, around 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Now why that temperature and not hotter, or colder? Well, if it were too cold it would not expand the air enough to force all the moist air outside to leave only dry low level humidity air. If it were too hot, it would not only make the air too warm, but also it would be unsafe, because it could start a fire if the dehumidifier fell on anything that is flammable.

Also by moving out all the humidity from a room, garage, boat, small shop, bedroom, or gun shelf, it prevents any mildew, mold, condensation, corrosion, or rust from forming. This means that everything that is inside the room will last longer, and the air that you will be breathing will be cleaner, and healthier.

Since the GoldenRod Dehumidifier has no moving parts at all, it is a snap to install, and even safer from getting any burns, or starting any fires. There are only two colors that it comes in – gold and white.

Installation

So how does a person install this so called simple dehumidifier? This is so easy to install that all you need is a drill, drill bit, and some sews (which are supplied for you with the product). To make the dehumidifier work correctly, it must be mounted with the brackets that it comes with or freestanding horizontally. It also must be at the bottom of an area that is enclosed. There is one last thing that the room must have – adequate ventilation, if the room does not then the damp air will have no way to escape. If you have doors or windows, there usually won’t be a problem, because the air will escape through loose fitting doors. That is why the room must has some ventilation, because most people would not like to have windows or doors that let air leak.

Running a GoldenRod Dehumidifier is cheaper than turning on the lights! A typical bulb will require anywhere between 75 to 100 watts, but with a GoldenRod Dehumidifier, it will only cost 12 watts for 100 cubic feet coverage which is the smallest, and 38 watts for 500 cubic feet coverage which is the biggest. So with using this type of dehumidifier, you are saving money by not purchasing and using bigger, bulkier ones.

Sizes

There are several different lengths that you can pick from, the reason for this is that if you had a small room, you would not need to get one that can has the coverage for larger rooms. Below you will see the different sizes along with how many cubic feet the unit can efficiently handle, and how many watts is required with lowering the humidity level: (remember the figures below are just approximates)
